NOIR is moving from wordpress to a FORUM!

We will be closing down our wordpress site (removing all download links as well as removing our address from Mangaupdates.com) at the end of this month (March 31, 2009).

We are still accepting DONATIONS. Donations will close on the last day of the month (that is when I withdraw money from Paypal and use the money from donations for raws purchases).  All donations accepted in March will continue to pay for other raws. Please DONATE when you can, for your donations really help, and we DO use them for raws, if you have any doubts.

When you are making donations, if you’d like to specify which project that you’d like to donate for, please do so. If there is no place to specify when donating, please feel free to email us with your FIRST NAME and the AMOUNT that you donated, as well as which raws you’d like to donate for. If you have no preference, we will use the donations for raws that we need.

Eikaiwa School Wars Ch05: Finally, another chapter of Eikaiwa! By Matsumoto Tomo, we’ll be getting more of Eikaiwa out asap! Hang on! XD
Running on Empty 04: A new chapter of our full-color shounen-ai manhwa. Eye candy for those of you guys who like good art!
Magical JxR Ch03 & 04: We are releasing ch03-04 of Magical JxR, which was “stored” up on our forum. With today’s release, we’ll be officially “dropping” Magical JxR completely, since the series has been scanned already. Hope you’ve enjoyed our releases for Magical JxR!

Yes, I have been rather inattentive when it comes to staff birthdays, but I hope to remedy that today. I would like to wish Kagome999 & Nycmango (1/1), Rainbowskittles (1/4), CinnamonBuns (1/24), Gotchaweird (2/1), and Mllsandy (2/14) all a wonderful Birthday this year! Thank you guys for all your hard work (especially when your lazy admin has been been busy with RL and inattentive T^T). Please know that although I might forget your birthdays (I’m sorry T-T!!), I remember the hard work and time that you guys put into making NOIR a better, more active scanlation group. We wouldn’t be here without you! So Thank you for everything and again, Happy Birthday! Woot!

February 14, 2009 Releases:

Flowers of Evil Ch15: Finally, another chapter of FoE, for all those incest fans out there! More twisted LUV~ XD.  If you haven’t tried Flowers of Evil yet, please know that it is classified as “psychological” and contains “incest”. It’s NOT smut, and it deals more with the feelings of the characters, as well as their complicated relationships. In other words, it is NOT a light, easy, predictable shoujo. BEWARE XD.

Snow Queen Ch9: Another chapter of Wann XD. The story and author speak for themselves. Read to find out more ~! If you haven’t tried the series yet, try it out! It’s cliche (it’s Wann XD) but really touching. If you are into bittersweet shoujo, this is for you to try out!

Show Princess Ch4: Our joint manhua project with Sherbet Lemon XD. Since this is a new chapter, I will leave the chapter up for you to read and find out XD. If you haven’t tried Show Princess, give it a shot! The art is quite nice and the story quite interesting (although we’re only at ch4, the story is really building up). Chiro Star Project Ch15: We’re sorry that it’s been so long since we’ve released a chapter of Chiro (I know that there are some rabid fans of Chiro out there XD), but the raws for the series are quite.. UGLY and HORRIBLE, not to mention almost UNREADABLE (thus our campaign for donations XD). If you’d like more chapters of Chiro, please help us out!

A Wolf Warning Ch02: A new series that we started during our Christmas Release Marathon. We weren’t able to give it the attention that it deserved during our Christmas Marathon T-T, but I hope to remedy that today! It’s a cute, funny shoujo series with sweet bishie characters XD. If you haven’t tried out Chapter 01, please do so! It’s quite funny (I laughed and LAUGHED while translating the series XDD) and you’ll get hooked on the series in no time, I PROMISE XDD! So please try the series, you won’t regret it XD!

Secondly, for those of you who’ve haunted Mangaupdates.com, you already know that “The Summit” Chapter 15 was released 2 days ago. Our joint partner Mihashi (#mihashi@irc.irchighway.net) released the chapter on their IRC channel and on Mangaupdates.com to celebrate the Chinese New Years! We’re releasing the chapter today on our website (Sorry we’re slightly late XD). Hope you enjoy!
